Our passion for baseball runs deep, and we are dedicated to sharing that passion with our American Legion baseball players and families from across the entire state of Minnesota. Our All-Star Series started in 2021 and now encompasses ten teams and 140 players divided into two tournaments at the end of the summer Legion baseball season. The Prospects program is designed to feature top ballplayers that have the intention of playing college baseball. The weekend is immersive for players and their families. Activities include: PBR/Legion Showcase, Hot Dog Social, Practice Afternoon, Twins Night Out, College Coaches Panel Breakfast and 16 games of baseball played in two tournaments in two stadiums.

Facility Details
Hargis Park is among the best college baseball parks in the MIAC as well as in the Midwest. The facility features an outdoor turf batting cage, four bullpen mounds, major league length dugouts, a fully-enclosed press box, and an inning-by-inning scoreboard in left field. In the summer of 2017 a full synthetic turf infield was installed, allowing the Royals increased usage throughout the year. The grandstand behind home plate provides 500 seats in addition to seating areas both down the third base line and in the left field berm.
The Legion Prospect Series was created as an All-Star event to showcase next-level talent from all across the state of Minnesota. Any rostered American Legion player graduating in 2025-2026 is eligible. Players are nominated by their coaches and the players that are selected are formed into six teams comprised of 13 to 14 players chosen by position. Our goal is to have a fun weekend, good baseball, top coaches, and provide recognition to some of the state's top baseball prospects.
Events take place August 9, 10, and 11, The 2024 tournament site is Reynolds Field at Northwestern University in Roseville MN. The state of the art turf field will help ensure a great weekend of baseball whether rain or shine. All games will be live broadcast by Youth Sports Plus.
The Legion Prospect Series Select was primarily created to serve younger players from communities across Minnesota. Players may be graduating in 2026 or 2027 (high school juniors or sophomores this fall). Players from across the state are combined with players from other communities to form a team roster. The 2024 Prospects Select Series will feature five teams comprised of 13-14 players.
Players are selected from nominations by the player's coach. Nominations are opened in June for coaches to refer players for possible selection. Teams are announced in early July.
Events take place August 9, 10 and11. The 2024 tournament site will be Hargis Field at Bethel University 3900 Bethel Dr, Arden Hills, MN 55112 . The field features a fully turfed infield to better ensure against stormy weather so that all tournament games get played. Bethel is just a three minute drive north of Northwestern University.
Held on the morning of August 9 2024, the PBR/Legion Showcase is open for all American Legion Baseball players. The Showcase is fully managed and run by PBR Minnesota. Players will tested and timed in many categories including throwing velo, exit velo, speed times, pitching, catching, fielding, running and more. Players will have a profile on the PBR website used by virtually all college coaches in their recruiting efforts. Video will be posted as well as statistics. College selection and recruiting starts as early as your freshman year. Where do you want to go? What level do you want to play? What are your education and career goals? College rules and practices have changed significantly. How does that affect you? We have an outstanding panel of coaches representing Junior College plus NCAA Divisions to share information and answer your questions in a casual breakfast atmosphere.
